This blanking plug kit safely replaces the notorious original blanking plug found on later model TD5 Engines. Below the turbo on the oil cooler housing is the oil cooler - there is an unused coolant port on this housing that is blanked with a horrible semi-plastic plug. This plug regularly perishes and leaks causing coolant loss and often engine overheating and failure. This high quality kit uses a quality silicon hose, good hose clamps and a machined alluminium plug to safely and permanently replace the the original part (or any subsequent plug attempt)
