Freelander 2 TD4 SE tow bar

I've got a 2007 Freelander 2 and had a "fixed height tow bar" (part LR 007479) fitted by my dealer at N1 City in Cape Town.

My question now: What is the reason for the 2 plugs - one black and the other white. Always uses the black plug when towing my little Venter luggage trailer.

Have now "invested" in an off road caravan fitted with LED lamp kits. The supplier of the caravan recommend that I check if my Landy will be able to handle the LED lamps - if not, some or other "loom" needs to be fitted.

Can anybody please advice?
