Freelander TD4 2003 loss of power

Hi I have found the problem and is not the FP there is a plug on the LP sensor that was the problem I took the plug and cut it off and then solder the wires direct to the connectors.my landrover is back and my problems are over.I also want to know if someone can tell me if I need to go and reset the computer.The preformance is not 100 perc but about 90 perc.Thanks
