New Range Rover Sport 2013

I was quite excited when I read about the imminent launch of the new Range Rover Sport in SA. This excitement was quickly crushed when I visited Waterford Land Rover in Johannesburg to get some more details, and found out that the model being launched in SA does NOT have the 7 seat option. The sales lady told me that this was available in Europe but not in SA. They feel there is not a market/demand for a 7 seater in SA. What total rubbish. I am tired of vehicle manufacturers thinking they can tell us what we do and don't want in SA. I cant believe there is a bigger demand in Europe for a seven seater than in SA. I think it is just Land Rover SA who don't understand their market properly.

Shame on you Land Rover SA, you have just lost another 'loyal' Land Rover customer by thinking you can dictate what we do and don't want. I have had a Disco2, Disco 3SE and Disco 4HSE now I need to find another brand.

I'm VERY disappointed.

Why not just get another D4? Can't understand why one should jump brands because the Rangie hasn't got what you need?

D4 is old tech, RRS has a new aluminium chassis, it will be lighter on juice and sportier on the road.

Probably much better off-road as well, due to the lower weight.
