I have coolant dripping from the water pump housing area. I can not say for sure whether it is only the water pump.
One of the top bolts(13mm not the 8mm ones that are directly on the water pump) hidden on the turbo side, that connects the accessory drive housing to the engine, was turned out about 10mm. I turned it back in with skinned knuckles and good words, but the leak is still there. It points to the water pump, I suppose. What I am still trying to determine is, what route does the follow take from the water pump. Does it go straight into the engine through the accessory drive housing? If so, is there not a possibility that a seal or o ring or whatever seals it has also gone south due to the loose bolt? I will replace the water pump but do not want to find that there is another problem.

Re: TD5 Coolant leak
The water flows through the accessory housing. I have been advised to remove the housing rather than removing the centrifugal oil filter housing. Water pump seem to be the culprit. Will also need the O ring that fits between the engine and the accessory housing.
