Bush cups defender rear diff

Hi gents.

Quick question re fitment of OME suspension to ‘99 defender. I believe the cups need to be removed from the rear diff in order to install OME correctly ?
They are apparently spot welded on but can be cold chiselled off quite easily?

All done. they hammer off quite easily. bushes fit much better. no metal on metal anymore and clearly allows for more movement
