Discovery 4 SDV6 S

HI everyone
I am currently in the process of purchasing a Disco 4 SDV6 S. 2012 model. It has done 60 000km. Should I be concerned or look out for an issues on these models? There are so many skeptics out there that are discouraging me. It will be used daily by my wife and as our holiday vehicle to the various game parks.
Also I would like to colour code the rear bumper (similar to the SE models). Can this be done or are the bumpers different altogether on these two models.
Will appreciate the input.

Ensure that the car is good... have an expert Landy man check it out.

Yes - the Disco does have some issues - but the big majority of owners are very happy.

My daughter has owned one for three years and her husband has recently bought one , so they are now a 2 Disco and a Defender family. They are fully aware of some of the issues , but are also aware that there is simply nothing to compare as a multipurpose family vehicle.

Get a good extended warranty and buy and enjoy...

Car Fan, I'm also in the market for a D4 (2011/2).

By all accounts, the D4 is way more reliable than the D3.

As Dave said, make sure it has been inspected thoroughly and either get the LR extended warranty or a good aftermarket one.
