LR tdi Defender County-1998 (295000km) yes or no

What is the Ave fuel consumption of a 300Tdi? I never exceed 110kmph in a defender. KM per liter please....

There is one for sale at R135 000 its a 1997 Model with all service records. Engine has never been overhauled.

ANY advice sincerely welcome.

Greg....Where you at? Gauteng, Cape, KZN? I have a TD5 with 285000+ on the clock.(bought @ 260000k's 4th owner) never used 2so, always fill with 500ppm and service at an Indy(schalk burger 4x4 S.West/Strand)every 10000km. been to NAM...some hectic stuff, 2xKgalagdi...very corrugetd roads & dust, Die...

Hi Michael With the powdery dust and general dry conditions you gets the sqeaks. You have applied Due Dilligence. Your brakes are sound! So don't hassle. Hi janco Where you at? CPT-JNB-DUR-PLZ? The guys that serviced the vehicle? Indy or Stealer? Sounds like they justr replace and hope for the best. I have a Def.2000TD5 110/HT. 285000on clock. Excellent Indy: Schalk Burger 4x4 between Strand/S.West is a good operator and a wizard at identifying issue...
